Week 5! Powtoon sounds like cartoon...
Hello 'pipol'! I hope you all well!
![]() |
Cartoon? Nope! This is anime! |
This week's lesson was about creating an educational video using Powtoon!
And hey! This is the third assignment we received! For this assignment, we will have to produce an educational video related to language learning.
We were needed to produce a video that for educational purpose around 90 minutes! Nah...! Just kidding... It should be around 90 seconds. It should be a voice over video. it can be edited in a software or application such as Audacity. We could also insert some animation!
This assignment also requires a pair to produce the video. It also contains 20% of our carry marks!
I guess that is all for today! See you again next time!

Podcast Publishing: BNHA animation(anime) Review!!!
Assalamu'alaikum peeps!
Here comes the second assignment! In this podcast, I've been sharing a simple anime review from my point of view. This is the first podcast I did. It seems interesting to publish a recording of your own. So I've been enjoying in 'the making' process a lot.
In the process of making this
podcast publish, I found out so many applications and softwares that I usually
see around the web pages and really familiar with. Wow!
If you are
interested in watching the full animation, you just have to Google up the anime
title- Boku no Hero Academia. You could also find it in several websites such as GoGoAnime to stream the anime!
"This program is brought to you by BanDai ( a Japanese Brand)" *just joking! I'm trying to mimicking the ad anouncer in anime*
This is literally an unpaid review. *crying while biting the corner of the bed sheets*
Hahaha! That is all from me... Please enjoy the review and click the link to listen the review!

Week 2! Part 1...
welcome back, peeps! We had finished the first class for this week! We had a new chapter for the class which it is Introduction of CALL!
First thing first, how are you? I hope you had a fine day today.
Today, I learnt about CALL. Technically, not only me but since this is MY blog, so i will just write about my point of view. Haha! =D I hope that is allowed.
Back to the main topic, please! Alright! What is CALL? Is it when you 'call' people by saying their name? Or through mobile phone with someone in other places?
CALL is Computer-Assisted Language Learning which it is a side of e-learning for Second Language learning.
There are 4 types of CALL:
- CALL-specific software
- Web-based learning
- Generic software
- Computer-Mediated Communication (CMC)
In CALL, there are Software Design and Pedagogy that managed by
team of people such as:
team of people such as:
- Subject specialist
- Programmer
- Graphic designer
- Professional photographer (according to ones necessity)
- Sound engineer and video technician
- Instructional designer
The Progression of CALL:
- Behaviouristic CALL used around 1960s. The primary method is Audio-Lingual Method. It is a programmed instruction. theare are pros and cons of Behaviouristic CALL which they are beneficial for learning but students are passive, immediate feedback but no interactions, and students able to work according to their level but the application of animal training based is doubtful.
- Communicative CALL was used around 1970s - 1980s. Focused on language than grammatical rules. The role of computer is as tutor, stimulus, and tool itself. The advantage of using Communicative CALL is cheap and widely available.
- Integrated CALL used hypermedia and real world materials such as videos. Integrated CALL involving Internet and CALL.

Week 1!
It's our first week! Hello, readers! We just finished our class of first week.
The requirement for the first assignment are:
- to introduce ourselves
- what we have learnt from the first class
- our expectation for this subject
This should be easy! In short, this is like an ice breaking session for freshman.
Alright! That is enough of tattle tale. My name is Siti Fatimah Binti Mustapha Kamal,an English major student in KUPTM. I finished my Diploma in KPTM KL. KPTM KL was former name for KUPTM. I completed my Diploma in 2015 and continued my study in 2017. I came from Johor and raised with another four siblings.
For this semester, we will be taking Internet Technologies for Language Learning subject. In this class, we had introduced by our respective lecturer, Madam Azidatun-Noor Binti Saidin, regarding the assignments and test. She also explained to us briefly about the flow of this subject. I was too nervous to focus and got distracted in that session, though. Hahaha!
Last but not least, I don't really have any specific expectation for this subject other than to improve my skills in handling computers. Why? Hmmm... Let me think first. Hahaha! I was an ICT student when I took my SPM. So i would like to take this chance to improvise my skills that i had long forgotten. Now I feel embarrassed. Please pardon my carelessness.
Well, those are three requirements for the first entry of this blog. I think i should stop or my content will be totally unrelated.
See you again!
